CCM, Biblical Worship Track
The Certificate of Christian Ministries in Biblical Worship program provides a one-year introduction to the musical and spiritual elements of worship ministry. This certificate is designed to be a launching pad for those desiring to serve in worship ministry, grounding the student in a knowledge of theology, music theory and tech fundamentals.
Successful completion of the program will equip the student to:
- Articulate the Gospel and explain basic Christian theological formulations regarding the Trinity, Salvation and the Bible as they are revealed in the Old and New Testaments.
- Demonstrate growth in the academic skills of reading and writing within the subject range of this program.
- Demonstrate growth in the skill sets and capabilities of operating effectively in practical ministry settings.
- Understand the language of music in order to teach others and to communicate effectively to a worship team.
- Understand the instruments used in a typical contemporary worship band, their roles, how they interact, and how to rehearse them.
- Understand the systems and workflow of sound and graphic content commonly used in a contemporary worship service.
