About the Pacific Bible College Library

The Pacific Bible College onsite Library is to offer around 11,000 books and a number of electronic databases as learning resources to help you in your studies. Access to the library catalog and electronic resources is available in Populi, our college management system.

Important Notice: The PBC Library is currently still in its implementation phase and is predicted to reopen August 2024.

How to Check out a Book

Books can easily be checked out by students using the Library Kiosk. The Kiosk is a self-serve computer located in the library and is equipped to search the catalog, locate, and check out / return books. The Kiosk can also be used by students for research and printing needs.

Digital Collections

Pacific Bible College gives its students and instructors access to the digital collection, Gale databases. Gale contains a combination of eBooks, journal articles, and opposing viewpoints on current events.

Library Database

You will not be able to make holds or check your account if you are not signed into your Populi account. If you want to check out a book, place a hold on a book, or check the status on your account, you will need to sign into your Populi account by clicking on the log-in tab link at the top right corner of the library search page.

Electronic magazine and journal articles are available to PBC students in several databases published by Gale Resources.

If prompted for a password, type in: pacific.

Learning Express

For those who would like extra help with math or writing, or for those who would like to research career options, Learning Express is a great resource. PBC has an account with Learning Express that students can use to set up personal accounts for free.
