Overview
The Bachelor of Science in Christian Education (BSCE) degree is designed to prepare students for effective teaching in Christian, private, and publish school settings, leading to the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI) Elementary Teacher Certification while meeting the Association of Biblical Higher Education (ABHE) accreditation standards. Rooted in a biblical worldview, the program integrates theological studies, educational theory, and hands-on teaching experience to equip graduates for excellence in Christian education.

This program ensures that graduates are well-prepared to teach in schools, serve in church education ministries, and pursue lifelong growth as educators committed to academic excellence and biblical truth.
Pathway to Oregon Teacher Licensure:
- Graduates who seek Oregon Teacher Licensure can pursue certification through:
- School District Sponsorship: Partnering with a school district that supports alternative licensure, including a Restricted License, while completing state-approved credentialing.
- Graduate Programs: Enroll in a Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT) or other licensure-track programs to fulfill the Oregon Teacher Standards and Practices Commission (TSPC) requirements.
