September 17 is designated as Constitution Day and Citizenship Day to commemorate the signing of the U.S. Constitution in Philadelphia on September 17, 1787.
On September 17, 1787, the delegates to the Constitutional Convention met for the last time to sign the document they had created. We encourage all Americans to celebrate Constitution Day by praying for our great nation and praising God for the blessings of the freedoms Our Founding Fathers secured for us through the power of God’s loving hand.
